Round Up of the Week......

Well I hope you've all had a great weekend.

We had a fun filled day yesterday with the step kids.  We went to a great little place nearby called The Plassey Leisure Park.  It's basically an old dairy farm which has been turned into a Craft & Retail Centre with a number of different things from boutiques to a hair and beauty studio and a coffee shop and restaurants.  It's a lovely little place to go for an afternoon wonder.

What's great is that they organise a lot of craft and sporting activities for kids.  So this weekend there was a make you own jewellery work shop as well as archery.  The kids loved the archery, but I definitely enjoyed the jewellery workshop more - I'm such a kid.  So here my creation - I just went with a simple keyring,

 So I hope you've all had a good Easter Break.  

K and the family has comes up to my mums this weekend and we had a fun day down the farm on an Easter Trail with K's little girl.  Although I think we ended up doing most of it!

And then because the weathers been a little rubbish today, I decided to do some Easter crafts with the niece and here's our Easter Bunny.

Also we've reached a 1000 followers, will actually 1001.  Thank you to every single person who takes to the time to read our blog.

This week L and myself attend the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow in London. As well as being shown the lovely new product we got to meet some lovely bloggers.

As your aware its also Mother's Day today. L is spending the day with our Mum but I am spending the day with my Hubby and Little one. Hubby and the little one know me so well and got me the new MAC Viva Glam Nicki lipstick. Hope you all enjoyed the day either spoiling your mum or being spoilt!

It's been a gorgeous weekend that's mostly been spent shopping!!

Yesterday I managed to treat myself to two nail polishes and the Real Techniques Stippling Brush (review coming soon). L also had the day out shopping with our sister and Mum.

We also both enjoyed Wales winning in the Rugby yearterday against Italy....next week the Grand Slam hopefully!!

How has you week and weekend been?

Right now this week has been all about cooking/baking for us.

K had fun making yummy Princess cakes with her little girl

Wheres as L decided that she needs her freezer to look like this,

With that in mind a couple of weeks ago she prepped up a couple of lasagnas, cottage pies, homemade Nando rubbed chicken, Cajun chicken mix, Creole Chicken, Chicken Enchiladas, Homemade Pizza Bases, Meatballs, Burgers and finally some Breakfast Burritos - yummy.  L made everything from scratch and she has around 2 to 3 weeks of meals made up at anytime and just tops up with a few different meals each weekend.  Also Pinterest has been great to get some different recipe ideas!

So like a lot of people, I went back to work on Tuesday after a lovely Christmas break. I was lucky enough to be off from the 22 December until the 4 January, although and despite being a only a 4 day week it's felt very long.

Here is this week's round-up of the week.

Both myself and L have been on our work Christmas Do's this week. I had a masquerade and casino theme. All in all we both had a great time. I also had a Christmas night out with my friends that was great too.

Saturday saw me pop up into Milton Keynes with little sis, mum, hubby and little one to watch the Redbull Homerun. It was sooooo cold but it was soooo worth being able to see the cars close up! Here is F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel.

How has everyone's week?

L has been busy with work and then popping down to stay with me so we could pop into London.

I have had a busy week as well this week. Between work and my little one not being very well, and then popping to London with L. But it was nice to see L for the night.

We took a trip into London to the Avon Party Bus and then we popped and had lunch at Wahaca in Soho. But as the little one wasn't well we left London early to get her to the Doctors but not before L managed to go to the Hummingbird Bakery for cupcakes.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

I have had a weekend of sport and baking really, not much beauty! As you may know L and myself are Welsh so we both watched the Wales v France Rugby game at the World Cup. I was gutted about the loss, so now will be cheering on New Zealand next week. Also it was the Korean Grand Prix (it was on ridiculously early) which I recorded and watched this afternoon. Then I made some yummy cakes with the little one.

She wasn't as attentive as the image above. She was so excited that she just kept getting carried away so it was a bit messy.

L has her first day at her new job tomorrow so it getting herself all organised.

I'm well and truly settled in to my new home now and getting back into baking. Last night I made a yummy Cola Chocolate Cake with a Chocolate Caramel Sauce - mmmmm!
