Wedding Album

It seems that my wedding was ages ago, not just 2 and a half months ago! But anyway I wanted to show everyone my album, as I was so impressed.

My photographer was great and on the Sunday after the wedding he had already sent me 4 pictures through and by the Tuesday I had all the pictures on a disk along with 4 photo's printed for us.

We then went about sorting out the album. It was all done online and the photographer had choosen around 325 pictures to go in the album and arranged in all for us. After a few tweaks it was done and our album along with a mini one for my mum and sister was received 10 days after the wedding - AMAZING!

So here it is,

They even wrote some of the lyrics from our first dance,

The album was printed through Truprint and I was so happy with the outcome. We had a 50% off voucher through our photographer so in all for the 3 albums it cost £56 and that included delivery.

Wedding FOTD and pics of the dress

So I wanted to do a FOTD for my wedding day, but realised that I didn't have any good close ups. Rubbish!

So I've included the best I could dig out and was happy putting up. Some are a bit more personal.

Products used:

For my eyes I used the Naked Palette -

Using - Virgin, Sin, Sidecar and Gunmetal.

Finally I thought I would show you some pics of the dress and hair.

Wedding Pictures

So I've already shown you some pictures of my wedding day, but I just wanted to quickly show you some pictures of taken by our Photographer as we were so impressed. We used Memories by Victoria Holden and it was actually Victoria's husband - Chris and his brother Stephen who photographed the day. It was his brothers first time taking the natural shots of the day and we were beyond impressed - with both of them really. The pictures are amazing, and I usually really don't like pictures of myself!

Firstly, we actually had their service for free as we found them via the Wedding Forum, as long as we agreed that they were free to use our images etc, which was fine with us. We were on a very tight budget and didn't think we could afford the usual £800 to £1000 you tend to pay for photos. We'd found a few around £400 to £500, although no-one was available on our date. At one point I really thought I wouldn't find anyone!

In the end, we were both so impressed with their service and attention to detail. Also very impressed that even though the hung around until the around 9pm we hardly noticed them - which personally I think is great!

The guys went for dinner jackets - so then the hubbie wanted to re-create some James Bond style pictures and the photographers kindly brought them some props.

and of course K's little one had to join in,

and even my Grandad played along,

I love the fact that they court this as well. Us girls were trying to take a nice sisterly pic and these two idiots jumped in the shot! Yep, that is mine and K's idiots.

They also brought a large picture frame with them for the evening reception.

The guests loved it.

The photographer packages cost £495.00 and they cover the North West as they are based in Warrington.

Also check out if you like their facebook page, you can see more of our pictures.

Afternoon tea and a Wedding...

I got married on Saturday - scary! I'm now a Mrs and couldn't be any happier. It's very strange but in a good way.

It was an amazing day, everything went perfectly and the weather was gorgeous. Especially after the horrible month we've just had.

We planned our wedding on a very small budget, so we did an awful lot ourselves - well me really lol. I wanted to have a Afternoon Tea feel to the reception with vintage tea cups and lots of cakes. We collected tea cups from charity shops and car boots for around 18 months and decided to give these away as favours with tea bags. I found an amazing way to wrap the tea bags so they looked like flowers from Martha Stewart's website.

I was also crazy enough to make a mini 3 tier cake, along with 80 cupcakes. And my bridesmaid bouquets.

So after months of planning, and spending

hours making things and being covered in glue - the whole day went very quickly.

So anyway I just wanted to share a few of the pics with everyone.

Just can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my hubbie!

(our photographer on the day was Chris Holden from Memories by Victoria Holden - cannot recomment highly enough! We actually had 2 photographers on the day which was great for the natural shots that I really wanted. They're very reasonable - packages at £495-00 which includes an album and a disk of all your photos. They're based in the Warrington and will attend most of the North West and North Wales - I'll put a few more pictures up from them later once I've had our full disk through)

Bridesmaids nails...

Hey,

So as you all maybe aware L gets married on the 4th of June and I will be one of her bridesmaids. As the date is approaching fastly I have been trying to get myself ready for the big event!

One thing L and myself have been thinking about what do do with our nails. L has finally made her decision (I think!) and likes the look which you can see here, but I can't decide. L has picked a gorgeous dress colour for us to wear so i would like something that would complement this green and the pink theme.

I want something that isn't over the top but not too nude but also not too boring...and I'm struggling. So I was thinking to either go with just E.L.F Innocent or George Witchcraft, or E.L.F Innocent with a so metallic tips. But then I found this Accessoirize nail polish for £4 yesterday and I really like the colour on, it is similar to E.L.F Innocent but has more of a pink tone to itI have applied two coats here and I have to say I normally like how the accessoirize nail polishes apply but this was rubbish to apply and I am not completely happy with the finish...very disappointed.

I am still not sure its the colour i will end up wearing! But I am tempted to try a brighter pink as L's them does have dusky green/turquoise, pale pink and a brighter pink, you can see her flowers here.

Has anyone got any suggestions of colours?

Thanks
