NOTD - Nails Inc Saville Row

Just a quick NOTD!  I love deep wine, berry and plum colours for winter. I feel like they go with my entire wardrobe.

This little beaut is Nails Inc Saville Row - described as a deep rich plum.  After two coats you get a lovely dark colour and lovely shine.  It actually ends up a little dark on the nails then in the bottle but not too much too worry about.

Perfect for those wintry months.

Nails Inc Instyle Freebie Power Pink

Just a quick update post on the Nails Inc and Instyle nails polishes. I have now managed to pick up Power Pink. You can our previous post here., which shows Peach Sorbet and Bluebell.

Power Pink was opaque in 2 coats. I think these is more of a lavender shade than pink, but I do think it's a gorgeous spring shade.
Instyle retails for £3.80, and Nails Inc nail polishes retails at £11 so these are a bargain!

Have you pick any shades up yet?

Thanks

Instyle Magaizne Nails Inc Freebie

We haven't done a Magazine heads up in a while, but after being told by my friend at work (Nicole) that she was disappointed I hadn't told her about this one so I thought I would do a post!

If you pick up this Months Issue of Instyle Magazine (June 2012) for £3.80 you get a choice of 3 full sized Nails Inc polishes (worth £11 each).  The choice of colour's are Bluebell, Peach Sorbet and Power Pink, these are limited edition and exclusively designed for Instyle Magazine.

So far I have manged to get Peach Sorbet and Bluebell...swatches are below.
Peach Sorbet
These are both great shades, I have applied two coats above and love the finish.  Peach Sorbet is a lovely light peach and would make a great nude base colour...I have a glitter shade waiting!  Bluebell reminds me very much of Beth's Blue from Models Own.  They are both great spring shades and I am tempted to pick up spares.  I currently haven't tried them on my nails so cannot comment on how well they wear.

These are certainly worth a look and I am now after Power Pink as it looks gorgeous!!

Have you picked these up yet?

Thanks

Nails Inc Neon Crackle

Just a quick post to about the new Neon Nail Crackle's from Nails Inc.  These are just stock images no swatches but I was so excited when I saw them I had to do a post!
I have never fancied the crackle polishes and so far have not used one.  But I am loving the neon trend and then when I saw these images I knew these were for me!

Here's what Nails Inc say,
'Your favourite nail trend just got even better! We have taken crackle to the next level with four new super chic neon shades. Try these vibrant colours over Floral Street brilliant white nail polish for a show stopping finish. What better way to update your Spring Summer wardrobe?'

Here are the shades available:

I would love Camden Town and Kings Cross.  Here's how Nails Inc say you should apply them.

How to apply

• Apply one coat of your chosen nails inc base coat

• Apply two coats of your Floral Street nails inc polish

• Leave to dry for 5 minutes

• Apply 1 coat of your chosen neon crackle shade. Have fun with this - try painting in different directions as this will affect how your design will look.

• Wait and see your nail polish appear through the cracks!

What do you think?

Blue and Green should never be seen...

Now I always remember this saying from when I was a child...'Blue and green should never be seen except with something in between'.
Well personally I think the two look nice together above!

Colours used:
Models Own Beth's Blue - one of my absolute favorite models own colours.
Marvala Lagoon - just a gorgeous shade.

Thanks

Neon & Nude

At the moment I have become obsessed with Nails Inc, I especially love there sets at the moments. The new Neon and Nude is another great set I want to own!!!
Now personally the mixture sounds like a bit of a crazy combination of colours but when you see it in the box below it actually works.

What Nails Inc say,
'The Neon & Nude collection is a show stopping collection featuring 6 mini polish shades that are perfect for Spring Summer.

Notting Hill Gate - neon pink polish

Portobello - neon coral polish

Westbourne Grove - neon yellow / orange polish

Jermyn Street - perfect taupe polish

Porchester Square - muted mushroom polish

Cadogan Square - classic camel polish

The set contains 6 polishes that are 4ml (so are the mini polishes) for £22. The colours are right on trend and will take you into summer perfectly.

What do you think? P.S also how cute is the box with the neon skulls!

Nails Inc Baker Street

Don't you just love it when all the bright fun nail colours start appearing for summer. When this popped into my inbox last week (I know I am behind) I instantly loved the colour.
Its Baker street which is limited edition, you can find out more and purchase here.

The shade has got further coverage as Beyonce has been seen wearing the shade.

You can read the full story here. But on her first trip out since the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy she was spotted in the new shade. Beyonce's manicurist also tweeted that this was what Beyonce was wearing.

Its certainly a bright fun shade, what do you think?

Thanks

Nails Inc Set

I had mentioned that I had found a Nails Inc set in TK Maxx for £19.99, see here for the post. I have finally got a round to swatching them all.
The box is lovely but I have to say i won't be keeping them in the box I keep my polishes in a tubs from Ikea, you can see one of the tubs here. I actually could do with getting some more.

The set contains 6 full size polishes and 4 mini's.

The shades are from the top left to right Old Church Street (nude shade), South Molton Lane (Hot pink) and Greenwich Market (deep cherry shimmer red). Middle row left to right are Caviar Topcoat Glitter (multi shade glitter), Holly Bush Vale (bright pillar box red), Marylebone Lane (vibrant purple shimmer) and Chelsea Embankment (gold glitter). Bottom row left to right Suffolk Street (aubergine purple), Duke of York Square (deep teal green) and Holbien Place (a blue shimmer).

For the swatches below I used 2 for all except Caviar Topcoat Glitter which i used 3 coats. On a couple of the shades I could have got away with 2 coats. They all applied nicely and but I think they look odd together as a box set, yet it does mean I have a nice mix of colours. My favourite shades are Caviar Topcoat Glitter, Chelsea Embankment (gold glitter), Suffolk Street (Aubergine purple), Duke of York Square (dark teal green) and Holbien Place (blue shimmer). I was also pleasantly surprised by Old church street, I didn't like it in the bottle but I liked the pinky nude on.

I am happy with the purchase especially for the array of colours I got. I think Suffolk street and Duke of York Square will be my winter staple colours.

What do you think? bargain for £19.99?

Thanks

Look what I found...

Well I am so pleased with these little beauties that I managed to get in TK Maxx yesterday.

They are a NYX lipgloss set that contains 10 colours that was £9.99. Then Nail Inc set for £19.99 that contains 6 full size colours and 4 mini colours.

Which swatches would you like first the Nails Inc or NYX Lipglosses?

I also spotted these great W7 nail sets that had 10 colours for around £16.99.

Have you spotted any good bargains in TK Maxx?

Thank you
