Philips ReAura

Hey,

Today we just wanted to introduce you to a new product coming onto the market. Its designed by Philips who are no strangers to beauty, skincare and haircare technology.

Philips are now set to launch a new light based anti-ageing solution - RéAura laser skin rejuvenation. Developed with the makers of Fraxel® laser technology, and it is endorsed by leading Harley Street cosmetic dermatologist Dr Sam Bunting. Fraxel laser is a salon based technology to resurface the skin. It is proven to help with anti aging but it can be expensive. The ReAura is expensive (£799)but compared to the salon treatment it is cheaper.

Available exclusively at SpaceNK from September, RéAura’s technology brings salon laser treatment into your home. Philips RéAura is clinically proven to achieve remarkable skincare results by uniquely providing three simultaneous benefits for an overall appearance of rejuvenation. 93% of users who trialed Philips RéAura saw visible improvement in their skin’s appearance.* In an independent clinical study, professional dermatologists observed 81% of users experiencing a reduction in fine lines and 83% benefiting from a more even skin tone. They also reported 86% of users experiencing smoother skin texture. The combination of these was reported to lead to 89% of users showing a definite improvement in their skin’s overall appearance.

The Fraxel® laser technology that Philips RéAura is based on stimulates the skin’s natural rejuvenation process with thousands of microscopic laser beams delivered to specific areas during each treatment session. The laser beams pass down through the layers of the skin, creating a pattern of microscopic treatment zones. This triggers the skin’s natural cell renewal process, stimulating the production of fresh skin cells and the production of collagen which in turn reduces fine lines around areas such as the eyes, cheeks and the mouth and also helps to push accumulations of pigment out of the skin. Gradually users will see age and sun spots fade and they will achieve a more even skin tone, smoother skin texture and improved appearance of fine lines.

The breakthrough laser skincare device is easy to use, in three simple steps:

  • Firstly, apply the laser performance gel before using Philips RéAura. The gel has been specially developed for laser technology so that the device glides smoothly over the skin, ensuring optimal contact between the application tip and skin.

  • Secondly, treat the skin with the device according to the instructions provided. The system is suitable for any skin type and can be used on the face – forehead, cheeks, mouth and eyes as well as the neck, arms, chest and hands. For best results, users need to treat their skin consistently, twice a week, for eight weeks.

  • Finish by hydrating the area using the specially formulated laser aftercare complex which hydrates and soothes the skin during the process of cell renewal.

*93% of the users saw visible improvement in their skin’s appearance (55 users in home use study, photos taken after last treatment)

**Results were after 12 weeks of home-use by 64 users. Results are based on analysis of before and after pictures by independent dermatologists

Three months after the last treatment, 4 out of 5 users still see an improvement in their skin’s overall appearance. Result observed by users (8-12 weeks home-use, 67 users)

Violent Lips...

I have noticed some blogger mentioning temporary lips tattoo's so I decided to have a little look at them. It seems people like Jessie Jay are fans.

Violent lips seem to be the brand you can find in places such as http://www.asos.com/ .

What they say;

'The ultimate form of self-expression, the Violent Lips Collection offers a statement-making line of Lip patterns that range from bold animal prints and fun polka dots, to sexy fishnets and picture-perfect Glitteratti sparkle.

This innovative line of Temporary Lip Appliqués will keep the print and color on your lips for up to 8 hours. Vitamin enhanced with a smooth feel and glossy finish, the appliqués are easy to apply to lips of all sizes.

Violent Lips was created by entertainment industry veteran Jeff Haddad and his daughters Isabella and Sophia. Violent Lips is a line of natural and vitamin enhanced temporary lip tattoos that stay put from the stage to the after-party. These FDA approved, vegan lip tattoos, are tested on supermodels, not animals and made in America.

One pack of Violent Lips contains 3 applications. Follow the instructions on the back of each application or watch our online tutorials to help apply the product. The appliqué itself is applied and sealed using water much like a temporary tattoo. The patent-pending appliqué removes easily with mineral or baby oil and a textured wipe.'

The choice of colours and styles they offer is amzing, you can purchase them for around £14.00. Some of the styles are below;
Now I would not wear these but I know that some people would be tempted and they do look fun! I am going to try to get my little sister to try a style out. I will do an updated post if the little sis does.

Would you try these?

Thanks

Special Effect Nails

Hey,

I tend to buy many nail polishes from Nails Inc, I just tend to get the freebies that are in magazines or with Diet Coke. But I love sparkly glittery nail polish...I'm like a magpie and these new special effects polishes caught my eye.

The one that really caught my eye was Electric Lane, which is a Holographic top coat. Its looks great! I always think £12 is a bit steep especially as you can get loads of good glitter from Barry M, Models Own and GOSH. But this looks super pretty!!! It would be great for Christmas.

Also how great do the 3 new shades of crackle polishes look. I have really not jumped on this bandwagon at all...I just don't get it. But The East End might tempt me.

After seeing these I decided to check out the rest of the special effects range. They do a couple of different items in this range ranging for 3 Magnetic Polishes, they do around 10 shades of crackle top coats, and around 8 Glitter special effect polishes.

I am now of to have a look in my Debenhams tomorrow!

Are you a fan of Nails Inc? Have you tried any of the special effects?

Thanks
