Everyday Budget Friendly Perfume

Like most girls I love my perfumes, and love getting new ones for birthdays etc. However I'm the first to admit that I don't always like to use my expensive perfumes daily - I feel like it's such a waste. But I still want to smell nice!

Well this is was my solution - River Island Perfume in Perfect.

I first tried this when I was at Uni, when I was a poor student and on a window shopping trip to River Island I saw this and thought what the hell - it was £9.99 for around for the largest bottle (it think 100ml - but not entirely sure as I now always purchase the 30 ml for £4.99).

It was love at first stiff - ha ha, lame but true! It's such an easy scent to wear and I get so many compliments when I've got it on. I'm rubbish with descriptions of scents and given the lack of details supplied on the packaging, all I can say that it has a spicy floral scent.

I always have a bottle on me and the 30 ml bottle is perfect for carrying around in your handbag.

Models Own Nail Polish- Peach Sherbet

So given that Boots in my hometown don't stock Models Own its been a brand I have wanted to, but not got round to trying.

However River Island had a (very) limited collection when I went in the other day so I picked up this pretty shade for £4.99.

I'll be honest, I don't normally pay that for nail varnish these days being totally addicted to BarryM nail paints and all, but I had heard a lot of good reviews and thought - why not!?

I was a little dissapointed with the application as it seemed to go on streaky. Normally I can get away with 2 coats of nail polish, but given it looks a bit streaky in the pic I think really I need 3.

That said, I still think it's a cute summery colour and £4.99 isn't that much relatively, so I will definitely be trying more of these polishes in future.

Espadrille Lust

OK, so its official - I need a pair of ♥ Espadrilles ♥. Seriously.



For all of my life (well since I have been going on holiday and able to understand the concept of shoes being something to lust after) I've had a major "thing" for these shoes. It started in Menorca and given that I have been on numerous family hols there its a wonder I haven't bought any yet.



What I love though is that they are now available to buy here and becoming more popular. Yes ok, you could say that I am a follower and that if I had any sense of originality I would have bought them a long time ago, but if truth be told they were just too expensive. I mean who wants to spend like £30 on a pair of beach shoes when you are on holiday!?



Now that I can wear them all day everyday though its a different matter haha! Well, ok not everyday (I think I would get some very funny looks if I wore them to work) but certainly when rocking a pair of skinny jeans. Yay!



And now I am super excited because I have seen that River Island do them for £7.99, or if you want to "go wild" you could pay £12.99 for an even better shaped pair. Oooo which will it be..? I am going for a nosey today me thinks, just to try on of course...
