Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream

So we've already showed you the Gentle Buffing Cleanser from this range and today we've got a review of the the Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream.

Firstly I love the packaging its very and elegant. Definitely looks expensive. Also love the fact that it has a push dispenser. Not only hygienic, but you get the perfect amount to apply between both eyes!

I gently pat this around both of my eyes morning and night. It's lovely and cooling once applied - perfect for both tired eyes in the morning and night. The cream itself is more gel like in texture with a slight scent (it's has a very natural sort of smell to it) and soaks in easily.

I particular wanted to try this to tackle my dark circles and given the statements on the website I was hoping for some difference,

"Stress, fatigue and environmental factors can all take their toll on the delicate eye area. This reviving cream helps plump and firm the eye contour, while refreshing tired eyes, reducing puffiness and eliminating dark circles"

It contains Arnica to reduce the puffiness, Vitamin K to diminshes dark circles, Cucumber Extract to soothe and refresh, Hazelnut Peptide to firms and plumps.

Well I'm not going to say I was disappointed as seriously this is the best eye cream I've tired. Hands down it beats the pricey £200 pound I've tried from La Prairie. But I didn't really notice that much difference with my dark circles. Overall my eye area was hydrated, refreshed and a little firmer.  Also it definitely helped to wake me up in the morning but I just can't say it did much for my dark circles. Although I do think I'm a bit crazy thinking that there is some wonder product out - sleep is what I need!.

At £67.00 it's a slightly steep for 15ml, but it you feel like it works for you and a little goes a very long way!

No7 Stay Perfect Eye Mousse

Now one of my favourite blogs to read is Makeup Savvy - I love the way Fee sets out her blog and the pictures she takes are just fab! So on one of my many reads, I discovered the No7 Stay Perfect Eye Mousse - her favourite being fudge! Now I'm not usually into the whole cream eye shadow, but because of her great review I was dying to give them ago. So when the Boots £5.00 vouchers were back recently I picked one up.

I went with Pewter in the end as I don't wear many browny colours and wanted a good everyday shade.

In the picture below you can see the mousse blended in on my hand and on my eye.

It has a nice shimmer to it - which isn't over the top so perfect for me! I love the colour on as well. Its just right. I would point out that I haven't used loads on, but I don't tend to wear my eye makeup heavy.
I was a bit concerned that with it being creamy that it may crease during the day, but it held its own really. I've had minimal creasing every time I worn it and I've tried it both with and without primer. And even better - it goes on so quickly!
Overall I love the colour and will definitely be picking up some spares!

LA PRAIRIE - Skin Caviar Luxe Eye Lift Cream

This was one of the goodies I received through from Selfridges. I've been given too little sample packets - but a little definitely goes along way. I've been using one packet now for 3 days, both in the evening and in the morning.
'La Prairie's Skin Caviar Luxe Eye Lift Cream is a luxurious firming cream that drenches skin with moisture and nourishment and improves the skin's elasticity. A real delicacy'

This isn't a brand I would usually purchase (waaaaaayyyyy too expensive if I'm honest - I could never justify buying it!), but I'm really loving using it.
Its feels quite rich but blends in great under the eyes and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It made my eye area feel so soft and I've even seen an improvement in the few lines I've been developing around my eyes.

Overall I love it and would like to purchase again but at £186.00 from Selfridges, I definitely won't be. I think my fiance would kill me.

Oh well - its been great having the chance to play with such a high end product! But for the price I would say that there is are lot more products out there, that do the same/better job for ALOT less!

......Continuation of Todays Purchases

Hi - this is L

As you know I went for a stroll around the shops at lunch with the Giddy Princess. I didn’t partake in the mini hair straightener’s purchase (although seem as I am seriously addicted to straightening my unruly, frizzy mane - I do think that these will be a future purchase.......ooooo and definitely in ♥pink♥Winking Smileys). Instead today I went a little crazy in Boots........

I picked up Boots Original Formula Vanishing Day Cream, Boots eye-cream (along with the trusted beauty obsessed sidekick) at the bargain price of £1.94, Collection 2000 Illuminating under eye concealer, Soap and Glory – The Fab Pore Facial Peel, Barry M nail varnish in 303 Bright Purple, Boots 17 Anti-redness correction stick, Natural Collection eyeshadow in White Opal and some new eye-shadow brushes.

I’m absolutely loving the Boots Original Formula products after a referral from my beauty obsessed pal, Giddy Princess. I’ve already picked up the Cleansing Milk and the Facial Tonic and I adore the vintage packaging which really cries out to me girly side ♥. Once I tried out the moisturiser, I’ll review the 3 products together.

I was also quite excited about purchasing the Soap and Glory – The Fab Pore peel. This may come as a bit of a shock but.............this is actually my first Soap and Glory Purchase. I know I’ve been a bit slow on trying this range, kept meaning to get something and give it a go but was never sure what to get. I’ve eventually decide to try The Fab Pore after reading a couple of good reviews. I’m really excited about trying this with the promise of minimising your pores (which is a serious quest of mine!) – Hopefully I’ll do a review on it in the next couple of days.

♥ Today's Purchases!! ♥

Hello again!!

Giddy Princess here on this (slightly duller than the past few) Monday afternoon.

Soooooo I have been out and about into town at lunch time and I have finally bought a grey nail varnish! Yay! Barry M to be precise. Whilst in Boots I also spotted a bargain eye cream at £1.94 or something so I have picked that up to have a try!

My favey purchase though are some fabulous mini travel straighteners I spotted last week in both New Look and Topshop. After much deliberation (and of course with the help from L) I decided to purchase the New Look ones today, basically because they were ♥PINK♥!! And at only £10 they have the potential to be an amazing bargain!

Now my ideal result would be that I can bring these beauties to NYC with me on my hol next week to keep lots of room for things I might buy when I get back, but I haven't tried them yet so I will let you know how I get on and whether they can tame my unruly frizzy hair!!!!

Reviews on all today's purchases soon dudettes!

♥Giddy Princess♥
