Golden Touch....

Primark accessories are always a little hit and miss and most of the time I can never find anything and sometimes when I do they tend to break within a few weeks, however occasionally you find a little gem which just keeps encouraging you to keep going back and checking out the selection.  It's perfect for the current on trend accessories that you probably wouldn't be wearing in a few months, especially given the relatively cheap price.

So these two little beauties are a recent purchase from Primark.  The bangle is lovely and girlie and looks perfect all layered up with a pick and mix of bangles/bracelets or just a good on it's own. It also looks a lot more expensive than it was.  The watch is a lovely rose gold effect with diamante stones around the face. I absolutely love this!  I have a gorgeous Ted Baker watch but I'm always worried about ruining it when I wear it everyday so this is fantastic and I love the fact it's rose gold.

Watch £5.00
Bow Bangle £2.00

Primark loveliness

Hey

Just a quick post for a Saturday morning.

There was a must have bag from Primark back in October/November that was a dupe for the Zara bag. L had managed to get herself the tan version and I was super jealous.

But then Primark released the bag below which is similar (just bigger handles) for £12 as well. So L got me one :)

I love it, it's soooo pretty, such a good size!
L got mine back in December so if your after one you might still get one!
Thanks

Primark Bargain Blush

I love a bargain and when I was in Cambridge last Sunday we popped into primark and I noticed this little beauty for a £1.

I think I have seen someone else post about these from Primark but for the life of me I can't remember...so sorry! Though it states its a blush its more like a highlighter. Instead of having balls these are hearts...super cute.

You can see a heavy swatch below.

Its a light pink and its more pink then the hearts look in the image on the right. and below is a blended swatch.
Its very subtle and as I'm pale I am really happy with how this comes out...
I think it would work as a subtle highlighter for all skin tones.

I use it exactly like bronzing balls I sweep across my No7 Face and Body Brush and apply too the top of mys cheeks. For a £1 these are a great little buy.

Have you tried anything fro Primark make-up?

Thanks

Vintage inspired hair accessories

So this is the look I'm going with for my bridesmaids at my wedding on the 4th June 2011.
I'm having a vintage feel to the day andf wanted this reflected in some of the accessories (Don't want to go OTT with the whole thing!).

So I'm going to have them all with a messy side bun and then the clip.
Love the way it looks!
And to top it off this costs me £2.50 from Primark!
Bargain.

I'm actually trying to keep my wedding as cheap as possible without compromise on the overall look and feel of the day!
So if people don't mind I tought I would show you a few more of my little wedding bargains soon.

Some Primark (& one sneaky New Look) Treats...

Currently I am suppose to be on a spending ban, or at least cutting back on spending. We are recovering still from Christmas and I have just started a new full-time job so we are now paying out Childcare as well. So I need to cut back a bit for a couple of months to adjust to our changes! Yet I still been shopping.....

But its ok, my Hubby took me! He was really nice this weekend and treated me to a bit of a shop as I needed some new stuff. With losing weight I now have a wardrobe full of stuff that's too big and baggy so I keep trying to pick up some items that will carry me through for a little bit. I knew I wanted a new Jacket/Mac, some more shoe's for work and some tops. I didn't do too bad off my list.

I managed to get the shoes, bag and shirt from Primark and the Mac from New Look.

I adore the shoes they were in the sale for £5 at Primark, I had seen them ages ago and wished I'd got them (we don't have a Primark that close to Milton Keynes). So when I saw them for a fiver I had to have them! I also loved the shirt when I saw it, I need some new tops and though I only managed to get one this will come in handy as its so comfy and just nice to go with my jeans or denim skirt etc. My last item from Primark was the bag for £10, its a cream/natural mock croc patent bag and will be brilliant for work as I can fit loads in it. I also manged to get a ton of knickers from Primark as well, I find their pants are really comfy and cheap!

Then as I couldn't find any coats or jackets I liked in Primark I popped into New Look and found the gorgeous Mac, it was £39.99. I just love it, it is such a nice fit and I love the black pipping and buttons. This is sooooo perfect for me to wear for work, you can get it here.

Did you have a weekend of shopping?

Thanks

Forever 21 haul in NYC Soho!!

Soooooo my lovely ladies... Just thought I would give you another post on some more of my NYC purchases!!

I had heard a lot about Forever 21 prior to heading to NYC and had seen their website through a site related to Soho in NYC. So it was one of the stores I was sure I would be heading to before I went.

Sooooo I searched the address and looked it up once me and the boyfy walked into Soho. OMG when I first walked in it was BEDLAM I mean Primark mid afternoon on a Saturday bedlam. STRESSED.com!! So I quickly did a U-turn upon seeing the sea of people, the clothes all over the floor and my poor boyfy's face of horror!! We will come back, I said - it was a Saturday after all.

We returned once again on the Monday. And what a difference. It was much much quieter. I mean yes there were a few shoppers in but you could move at least!

So I picked up a shed load of clothes and headed to the fitting room, which was heaving. So I went back upstairs and headed to the other fitting room - but alas it was shut. Given that I had already spent LOADS of time in fitting rooms that day and it was around 6pm, I just dropped the things I wasn't sure about and bought the clothes I pretty much knew would fit. Sometimes, it's just not worth it!!

Plus I wanted to get back to the apartment to get changed for cocktails!!

And here is what I bought...

The full loot - I can't quite remember now but the tops didn't come to more than $10 each I don't think!!

Making use out of one of my purchases on this hot weekend... (glasses £1 primark - and yes, they have the UV kite mark also, so I am protected properly)

The earrings - super cheap $4.80 - sorry that they have all turned upside down!!

The accessories - necklaces around $3 and scarf around $7 -

I so so so love the sunglasses. Yes they are tacky, but hey - your only young(ish) once!!! Plus they look hilarious when I hold them up to my puppy's face because they are the perfect size for him!! Haha. Anyway, I digress...

Whilst we are on the subject of accessories I may aswell show you the little pieces I picked up off a Soho street stall too...

I love picking up things like this because you can't get handmade jewellery like this in my home town. I just loved all the rope jewellery whilst I was there, it's still pretty but yet takes me to my youth when we all wore friendship bracelets. I feel like this is the adult version or something...

They were $10 each and the ring was $15. I love the ring. It literally goes with everything!

So ladies, what do you think of this haul?? You likeeee????

Giddy Princess's lunch time outing to Primarni!!♥♥♥

And here is what I bought! Yay! I love love love and have wanted for ages to get a pair of white skinnies - and today was the day. Haha - I posted this on MUA website today and someone asked if I was actually referring to jeans or people haha!!?? It was all in good humour and made me giggle!

But yes, I was talking about jeans and I just love love love them!!! They are for my trip to NYC really because I wanted something summery - although again referring to MUA - the girls there with the inside knowledge said its freezing there at the moment! Ah well - maybe for Caribbean carnival this weekend instead if weather keeps up!!

Top was £4.00 and is from Primark's "organic" range. I have three like this now and they are lovely to wear and hold their shape really well. Most of the t-shirts look a bit baggy I find, so I really like these because they are fitted and only four dabs!!

The jeans I keep going on about were only £8.00 too!! After seeing
Tali's post on golden summer must haves today I was tempted to also get a pair of gold sandals - but stopped myself as I already have a pair from last summer that will have to do for now!!!!

Also...

I bought three of these at £1 each - not bad right!?
These are to bring all my "toiletries" next week. When I counted how much I would be bringing just for beauty and hair regime there were 23 items!! Jeeeeeeeeez. Haha - but I need them all so it's only right I bring travel sized version!
