Mii Pure Wonder Concealer

So today's review of Mii Cosmetics Wonder Concealer on Awake01. Now firstly I've discussed on here a few times that I'm obsessed with my dark circles (only made worse by the fact I wear glasses - always seem to add a shadow), so I'm always after a brightening under eye concealer.

Mii is a relatively new discover for both K and myself. K showed you the Mii uplifting Cheek Colour in Kissed previously. However the brand already has a few celeb fans namely Olivia Palermo. She was seen at London Fashion Week wearing one of the Moisturising Lip Lovers in Tease.

Anyway back to the concealer! Firstly I think the product itself comes in a lovely sleek looking packaging. I actually think the whole range looks well presented and expensive. The concealer then has a little brush on the end. Only complaint I had is that it seemed to get extremely messy by the brush!

You simply twist, apply with the brush and pat. If I'm feeling particularly annoyed by my dark circles that morning I tend to brush a little in with a concealer brush and then pat a little extra on top.

It promises to do the following:

"disguise dull, tired skin and dark circles, lightening and correcting the delicate area under the eye, while moisturising and smoothing for a youthful, bright-eyed look"
It easily hides the worst of the colouring and brightens the area. I have to admit that I wouldn't usually wear this just on it's own.  I would tend to either use Benefit's Erase Paste or Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer first and then this on top.  Both these combo's work brilliant.  Have to say though for most normal people and not the dark circle crazies like me, this is more than enough.

It's £20.50 for 1.5ml - which is quite steep.

Mii Cosmetics Uplifting Cheek Colour in Kissed

Now today's post is on a brand I had not heard of before. We were approached by the PR to see if we would like to try something from the range. I decided on the uplifting cheek colour...I am a sucker for a blusher.

First off let me give you some background and info on the brand they are Mii Cosmetics. 'They have used feedback from women who use beauty salons to develop a totally new range of beauty products. On that makes you feel beautiful whoever you are. Giving you the confidence to create a look that is uniquely, completely, unmistakably you. So when you look in the mirror, you can say... Thats Mii.'

I decided on the Uplifting Cheek colour is Kissed shade 01, but you can see the other colours available here. This is quite a Barbie pink!
The packaging is is super cute is comes in a white box with black writing on (completely forgot to photograph the box!). The blusher its self comes is a sleek black plastic compact which is sturdy and also contains a mirror. But as this does not contain a brush not sure our useful the mirror is.

As you can see Kissed is quite a bright vibrant barbie pink.

The powder itself is matte, soft, silky and easy to apply to the skin and super pigmented. It also blends in great but you do need to use it sparsely, I do think that it helps to lift my complexion especially on an off day.
I am pleasantly pleased with Mii cosmetics, the range isn't cheap but if the rest of the products are as good quality as the blusher I would be happy. I am very tempted to try Tickle and Bloom as well from the uplifting cheek colour....they look lovely as well. I would also like to try the Moisturising Lip Lover as I have read good things in the blogsphere.

This blusher is priced at £16.50 for 7g.

What do you think?

You can purchase Mii Cosmetics for here or from selected salons that you can find here.
