Jimmy Choo Perfume

Hey,

Today's new post is on a Christmas present I had off the Hubby.

I had tried this perfume quite a lot when I used to walk through Debenhams on my lunch. Its not a scent I would normally go for. I used to test some on my wrist and later on in work would catch the scent again and kept thinking I need it.

Then my Mum had the perfume for her birthday and after trying her's out I knew I had to have it. Luckily the Hubby knew I wanted it and got it for Christmas.

I have the 60ml Eau deParfum.

The perfume itself contains modern Fruity Chypre with warm, rich, woody depths. This certainly isn't a sickly sweet perfume its its a much warm sweet scent that has great staying power. The bottle itself would also look lovely on any make-up table.

The Eau de Parfum retails at around £39 for 60ml.

Nails Inc 3d Pastel Glitter

Hey,

When I saw this email from Nails Inc in my inbox it was love at first sight. These are the new 3d pastel glitter colours.




The colours are very spring though it's a shame there's only 3 shades available.



They are part of the special effects range and retail at £11 but are only available online.

I really want all 3 colours....I love glitter!

Messy Natural Up-do

On youtube, John Frieda has created a number of How To videos to help you achieve simple, yet stunning up do's.  They've also given tips etc on how to blow dry your hair for the best results and tips for creating volume.

Check out the video,

I was kindly sent a selection of John Frieda products to help create this messy up do look.

Included in the box was:

1. Friz Ease Curl Reviver Mousse

2. Luxurious Volume Thickening Hairspray

3. Luxurious Volume Thickening Shampoo

4. and some clips to help you achieve the look.

Firstly you wash your hair with the Volume Thickening Shampoo and then towel dry, before you blow dry you apply mousse to the comb and run it through your hair.  Tong sections, in order to create movement and shape through the ends of your hair.  Also at this point I used a little of the Hairspray.

Finally pin some your hair in a roll at the crown for height and volume and then pin up sections.

Love the end result and it was really easy to do (not sure why i look a bit green in the picture I didn't in the mirror/person!!)

It's easy to accessorise with a hairband etc, but I liked it as it was!
