So this New Years Eve, NIVEA are attempting to break a record with the longest kissing chain on Twitter. To get involved we thought you can't really prepare to pucker up on New Year without a little preparation and therefore to get yourselves ready we thought we'd share our lip prep tips.
First off, we do the following:
- The night before a big night out, we use an old tooth brush to get rid of any excess skin (only use gently mind!).
- We then apply a generous amount of Nivea's Lip butters. Nivea lip butters come in 3 variations - Raspberry Rose, Caramel Cream and Original. I'm definitely a Caramel Cream girl. NIVEA Lip Butter helps ensure lips are moisturised to the max and ready for kissing! The lip butters are packed with Almond Oil and Shea Butter to leave you lips nourishing soft and perfect for the wintery months. The rich buttery balm melts instantly into lips leaving them feeling soft and smooth.
- If we're in a bit of a jam and did need to get ready quickly, we use a little bit of Lush's Lip Scrub followed by one of the lip butters and your lippie of choice. I love Bobby Brown Old Hollywood - the perfect red!
To win a set of the Lip Butters, simply tell us your lip prep tip along with your email and twitter name to enter.
Giveaway is UK only and open till Midnight Sunday 6 January 2013.
Good luck and Happy New Year from us both.

I'd love to try these
ReplyDeleteMy lip tip - apply chapstick before you go to bed, you'll always wake up with soft lips not dry and they don't get cracked even in winter.

ReplyDeleteI think the best lip prep is to keep your lip salve handy at all times.

I suggest using lip balm/chapstick often, especially during winter time. Lipstick applied to dry chapped lips isn't very appealing.
